The American Journal of Multidisciplinary Knowledge Insights (AJMKI) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, originality, ethical publishing, and responsible scholarly communication.

AJMKI recognizes that the credibility of scholarly research depends on originality, transparency, accurate attribution, and responsible use of intellectual and technological resources.

SECTION 01
Plagiarism Policy

For AJMKI, plagiarism refers to presenting another person's words, ideas, concepts, theories, research findings, data, methodology, figures, tables, images, software, or other intellectual contributions as one's own without appropriate acknowledgment or citation.

Plagiarism May Include
  • Direct copying of text without proper quotation and citation.
  • Using another author's ideas or arguments without attribution.
  • Inadequate or misleading paraphrasing.
  • Unauthorized use of tables, figures, images, datasets, or research materials.
  • Duplicate or redundant publication of substantially similar work.
  • Substantial self-plagiarism without proper disclosure or citation.
  • Presenting another researcher's findings or concepts as original work.
Plagiarism and academic misconduct are treated as serious violations of scholarly ethics.
ORIGINALITY REQUIREMENT
≤ 10%
OVERALL SIMILARITY INDEX

The overall similarity index should not exceed 10%, excluding references, properly quoted material, standard terminology, and unavoidable methodological expressions.

Similarity is evaluated contextually — not by percentage alone.
Plagiarism Detection
 

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using recognized plagiarism and similarity-detection systems before or during the editorial and peer-review process.

TURNITIN iTHENTICATE EQUIVALENT TOOLS

The Editorial Team may investigate suspected plagiarism identified through similarity reports, peer review, editorial assessment, or other reliable sources.

EDITORIAL RESPONSE
Action Against Plagiarism
Minor Issues
Citation errors, accidental similarity, or inadequate referencing may result in a request for correction.
Serious Misconduct
Substantial plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, falsification, or serious copyright violations may lead to rejection.
Post-Publication
Correction, editorial notice, retraction, or other appropriate action may be taken.
Author Declaration

During submission, authors are expected to confirm the following:

01   The manuscript is original scholarly work.
02   It has not been substantially published previously.
03   It is not simultaneously under review elsewhere.
04   All borrowed materials are properly acknowledged.
05   All authors made meaningful scholarly contributions.
06   All authors approved the final manuscript.
07   The manuscript does not knowingly violate intellectual property rights.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Policy

AJMKI recognizes the legitimate role of AI-assisted technologies in modern academic research while requiring transparency, accuracy, human responsibility, and ethical use.

Acceptable Use of AI
 

Authors may use AI-assisted technologies for appropriate scholarly support, provided that meaningful human supervision and responsibility are maintained.

Authors retain full responsibility for everything contained in their manuscripts, regardless of whether AI-assisted tools were used during preparation.

Important: AI-generated information must not be accepted uncritically or presented as verified scholarly information.
AUTHORSHIP
AI Cannot Be an Author

AI tools, artificial intelligence systems, chatbots, and automated technologies cannot be listed as authors or co-authors of manuscripts submitted to AJMKI.

HUMAN AUTHORS RETAIN FULL SCHOLARLY RESPONSIBILITY
Disclosure of Substantive AI Use
 

Authors should transparently disclose substantive use of AI tools in manuscript preparation. Where appropriate, disclosure should identify:

Routine spelling, grammar, or basic formatting assistance generally does not require separate disclosure unless otherwise required.

Restrictions on AI-Generated Scholarly Content

Authors must not submit AI-generated material as their own original intellectual contribution without meaningful human evaluation, revision, and responsibility.

Particular care is required for:

AI Misuse Is Not Permitted

AI tools must not be used to fabricate, manipulate, or falsely represent scholarly evidence.

FABRICATED DATA MANIPULATED RESULTS FALSE REFERENCES INVENTED SOURCES FALSE QUOTATIONS FALSE RESEARCH EVIDENCE
False or unverifiable AI-generated scholarly information may be treated as academic misconduct.
AI-Generated Images, Data & Other Materials
 

Authors must clearly identify and appropriately disclose the use of AI-generated images, figures, datasets, or other materials where such use is permitted and relevant.

AI-generated material must not be presented as authentic empirical evidence, original experimental results, or photographic documentation when it does not represent actual research evidence.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that AI-assisted materials do not infringe copyright, privacy, confidentiality, or other intellectual property rights.

Editorial Review of AI-Related Concerns

AJMKI may evaluate manuscripts where reasonable concerns exist regarding undisclosed AI-generated content, fabricated references, inaccurate information, manipulated data, or other inappropriate AI use.

The Editorial Team may request:
  • Clarification regarding AI use.
  • Supporting information.
  • Original research materials.
  • Additional documentation.
Appeals

Authors who believe that a plagiarism or AI-related editorial decision has been made incorrectly may submit a formal appeal to the Editorial Office of AJMKI.

Appeals are considered objectively and fairly based on available evidence, manuscript circumstances, and applicable principles of publication ethics. The final decision is made by the appropriate editorial authority.
