The Editor-in-Chief, Associate Editors, and Editorial Board are responsible for maintaining the academic and ethical integrity of the journal.

Editorial decisions are based primarily on the manuscript's originality, academic quality, methodological soundness, significance, relevance to the journal's scope, and compliance with ethical publishing standards.

Authors submitting manuscripts to AJMKI are responsible for ensuring that their work complies with the journal's ethical and scholarly requirements.

• The submitted work is original.
• The manuscript has not been published previously in substantially similar form.
• The manuscript is not simultaneously under consideration by another journal.
• All sources, ideas, quotations, data, figures, tables, and other borrowed materials are properly acknowledged.
• Research data and findings are reported accurately and honestly.
• Fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and data manipulation are prohibited.
• All individuals listed as authors have made meaningful scholarly contributions.
• All authors have approved the final manuscript and agreed to its submission.
• Funding sources and relevant conflicts of interest are disclosed.
• Appropriate ethical approval has been obtained where required.
• Informed consent has been obtained where applicable.
• Copyright and intellectual property requirements are respected.

Peer reviewers contribute significantly to maintaining the academic quality and integrity of AJMKI.

• Evaluate manuscripts objectively, fairly, and constructively.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• Assess manuscripts according to relevant scholarly criteria.
• Identify important and relevant published research that has not been appropriately cited.
• Report suspected plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, or other ethical concerns.
• Declare any actual or potential conflict of interest.
• Decline an assignment when they do not possess appropriate expertise or cannot provide an impartial assessment.
• Complete reviews within the agreed timeframe whenever reasonably possible.
• Avoid personal criticism or discriminatory comments.

The publisher of AJMKI supports the independence of the Editorial Team and does not interfere with editorial decisions based on commercial, financial, personal, or other inappropriate considerations.

Allegations of misconduct will be assessed carefully and investigated in accordance with appropriate publication-ethics principles and relevant COPE guidance.

AJMKI maintains a strict policy concerning plagiarism and academic originality.

Submitted manuscripts may be screened using recognized similarity-detection systems, including Turnitin, iThenticate, or equivalent tools, before or during the peer review process.

Similarity reports are evaluated contextually by the Editorial Team. A similarity percentage alone does not automatically establish plagiarism; however, substantial unattributed copying or inappropriate reuse of published material may constitute academic misconduct.

AJMKI recognizes the legitimate use of artificial intelligence and AI-assisted technologies in modern academic research and scholarly communication.

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and scholarly quality of their manuscripts.

Substantial use of AI in manuscript preparation should be transparently disclosed where appropriate. Authors must verify AI-assisted content and must not use AI technologies to fabricate data, references, research findings, citations, images presented as authentic evidence, or other scholarly materials.

Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest that could influence the research, peer review, editorial decision, or publication process.

Conflicts may include financial, professional, institutional, personal, academic, or other relevant relationships.

Authors are responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of their research data.

Authors should retain relevant original research materials, datasets, analytical records, and supporting documentation for a reasonable period following publication.

Where appropriate and ethically permissible, authors are encouraged to make research data, analytical materials, instruments, or other supporting resources available through suitable repositories to promote transparency, verification, and reproducibility.

Research involving human participants, animals, personal information, sensitive data, or other ethically regulated materials must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional requirements.

Where applicable, authors must obtain approval from an appropriate ethics committee or institutional review board before conducting the research.

Manuscripts involving human participants should provide appropriate information regarding informed consent where required. Personal or identifiable information must be handled responsibly and in accordance with applicable ethical and legal requirements.

AJMKI is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the published scholarly record.

When significant errors, inaccuracies, or ethical concerns are identified after publication, the journal may take appropriate corrective action, including:

Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a clear and reasoned explanation to the Editorial Office.

An appeal should identify the specific decision being challenged and provide supporting evidence or clarification where appropriate.

Appeals may be reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief, an appropriate member of the Editorial Board, or an independent expert where necessary.

Submission of an appeal does not guarantee that the original editorial decision will be reversed.

AJMKI expects all listed authors to have made meaningful contributions to the research and manuscript.

Authors should agree on authorship before submission and ensure that all eligible contributors are appropriately recognized.

Individuals who do not meet authorship requirements should not be listed as authors solely because of their position, institutional status, supervisory role, or other non-scholarly relationship.
